It's very likely that Pete went in the doors last night with the most voters.

I happened to be watching MSNBC when they showed the whole breakdown of men and women. Sanders won men by about 5% over Pete. Pete won women by about the same margin over Sanders, but women out numbered men in the caucuses by 16%

he was the second choice of many who had to realign. He made a great showing last night, even if he didn't "win."
