Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumWell, it's official today.
I completed my MD absentee ballot this morning and will mail it in tomorrow.
My above-all preferred candidate, Elizabeth Warren, was still listed on the ballot. But since she has withdrawn her candidacy, I did not waste my primary vote.
I did take some solace in voting for DNC delegates who had declared for Warren, except for one instance, an "uncommitted" male delegate. He is someone whom I know personally and who was also a staunch HRC supporter in the 2016 primaries.

There is no way this side of Hell that I would ever vote for Bernie Sanders in a Democratic Presidential Primary.
So, now I'm ready for the GE.
OUT with this Living, Breathing Stain not only on the US Presidency, but on humanity itself, whom I loathe with every fiber of my being!

(70,983 posts)Warren was my second choice. Her sheer guts won me over. I chose Biden because of his relationship with the blue wall states and he was born in PA....I like the guy too and I also like Elizabeth Warren a great deal...I will be glad when the primary is over.

(23,741 posts)I would have preferred a younger candidate, Klobuchar or Buttegieg, but they gracefully bowed out a week before MI's primary.
Now we await one more graceful exit.
