If this were pre-South Carolina Primary, and Biden did the same, I wouldn't call it grandstanding. This is actually really important. The Republicans are trying to steal, yet again, from the working class while enriching corporations. This should not come as a shock.

...he, as a single senator, can't do a damn thing. If these last couple of weeks are anything to go by, "putting a hold" on a bill literally delays the actual vote by hours. Just a few hours -- maybe one actual legislative day in Senate time.

And now, if there are any hiccups, work within the Democratic caucus to ensure that those issues are appropriately resolved rather than flying in after most of the hard work is done and then proclaim that he, alone, is doing something about it. Bullshit. It's grandstanding, plain and simple. He alone can't do a goddamn thing about it. If he wants something done about it, he should get his ass off Twitter, get his ass off the internet, and consult with his Senate colleagues. Of course, if he were to do that, he'd probably find out that they were already working to address the problem(s) while he was out self-promoting.

Watch while the difficult job of crafting legistlation that can pass is done. Criticize the legistlation as being inadequate and make threats. If the legistlation is very popular he votes for it, but he laid down his marker in case any part of it goes wrong, he can criticize democrats who helped write it.
