One more trait that I like of Biden: he says what he wants to say and then stops

He was on Nicole Wallace earlier - I am sure there are many posts here. She asked him a question, he answered, did not try to hog the mic and then stopped. Same during the debates. Except for the last one - not the one on one with Sanders - when he did complain about his allotment, but in all the previous ones. All the candidates were talking over one another, always beyond the time allowed. He never did.

As a matter of fact, I remember in 2008, there was a debate. He was asked something replied in one syllable, I think, and the moderator was waiting for more and Biden just smiled.

And there is Sanders. It really irks me that the the non-Fox media think that Sanders deserves equal time. He does not. If he'd done the, yes, patriotic thing, he would drop out. But, nooo he is equal to Biden so they give him time.

We watched the PBS NewsHour. Waiting for the Senate vote, I think. John Thume was interviewed and Sanders could be seen in the back, kinda hiding until, yes, his turn came.

By then we had dinner and did not bother to listen to what he had to say.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

“reopen” by Easter was perfect — something like “Look, I’d like to reopen tomorrow, but it’s just not feasible. . . . . .”

He didn’t call trump an idiot, he just stated the facts and talked about science, etc.

Still impressively personable and compassionate. The man is a clear thinker with a direct straightforward approach. We could sure use him in the White House right now!

Professionalism is a great asset, in my view. Why people imagine it has no place in political life puzzles me.

"Every man thinks he can do two things: write a book and command an army."

"When things are not called by their right names, what is said cannot make sense. When what is said does not make sense, what is planned cannot succeed. When plans do not succeed, people become uneasy. When people are uneasy, punishments do not fit crimes. When punishments do not fit crimes, people cannot know where to put hand or foot."

Was a question about whether he could ever answer a question without going off topic, and he answered yes because at the time, he had a reputation for going off subject on long tangents.

I had this thing on my relatively new laptop that popped up for the first time all of a sudden and asked if I wanted to "trash" or "cancel".. It all happened so fast I didn't read it bc I thought it was like another one that said "Leave this page" so I clicked on the left.. and the post disappeared.

Then yesterday it happened again and this time I read it so I knew what had happened to your OP. omg. lol
