Are you sure you want primary arguments in GD?

which was a good one for us! Pelosi was big then, just elected speaker, and there was a photo of her talking to Dubya, he was seated and she was behind him standing and talking down into his dumb ears! 14 years later she is still kicking butt!

You may have been here in time for the Obamacare debates and the left saying it wasn't good enough - kill the bill - and then the web site was such a disaster, but it's still there now. And trolls saying Obama lost their vote for escalating in Afghanistan when that's what he said he would do while campaigning.

The ACA was done then and the Website was having typical Rev 1 issues. Republicans took advantage of people's hesitancy about the ACA (but, how things changed for those idiots 8 years later). I remember people on the far left complaining about the ACA and other never before passed legistlation, it was not good enough, as Ed Schultz bellowed on MSNBC as he demanded that people sit out the midterms, Cenk was on MSNBC for a short while doing the same thing. Once Biden is in office and starts cleaning up the mess that Trump is making, I hope that people are smarter this time around and realize that he needs a strong democratic Congress behind him to pass the type of legistlation that the far left wants. If often hesitate when I use "far left" because everyone here is on the Left, there are a decent number of Center-Left people, lots of Left-Center people like me, even more True Left people, then a few of the type of people that became Sanders supporters (written not to dismiss them, most all are very sound people).

I know that with my own politics, I overlap some with the Center-Left and True Left, but I am also in my own space politically, for example, a lot of people that are True Left have deep concerns about the form of capitalism that we have, those Center-Left mostly embrace capitalism, I also embrace capitalism but only in the sense of being a social democrat that sees capitalism as a useful tool for achieving greater benefits for society.
