Dear Sen Sanders. The time is now, to help unify the party

You are not going to win the Democratic nomination. Staying in will only keep the primaries going and expose people to a deadly virus trying to vote. Then there is the convention. The Democrats most likely will have to cancel the convention.

You have no chance of winning this. But you do have the opportunity to help unify the party, and in doing that, have the ideas you say you are representing given a second look by the Democrats. Look to Andrew Yang as the perfect example. He is being called on by everyone to explain his 1,000 a month proposal. How does it work?

You have an opportunity to be a Hero or a Zero. The choice is yours.

Step away from the Stein group. The time has come.

4. Bernie is an ideologue

The Sanders people have cried and yelled that they have a revolution a movement. They don’t and never have.

If you’ll recall the Bernie in 2008 was John Edwards. He was way to the left of Hillary and Obama. And so, two moderates beat him badly. He employed the exact same rhetoric as Bernie.

Bernie took over in 2016 and got clobbered by Hillary and now he’s getting clobbered again.

Bernie is an ideologue and has created a minor cult-like following that has no direction or perspective about political reality and practicality.

As of now, the only thing that can hurt Biden is the sour grape destructive (take the ball home when losing) force of some followers of Bernie…

5. He Has No Interest In That, Unfortunately

Sanders considers the Democratic Party as much the Establishment as he does the Republican Party. He has always considered them interchangeable opponents of revolutionary action. He wishes not to ally with or assist the Democratic Party, rather he imagines he can take it over, make it over into his own image, and having thus breached the castle wall, use his new revolutionary party as the tool of destruction for the remaining institutions of the Establishment. A course of action, on reflection, rather like that of a virus towards a living cell.

He loves the campaign, but not the governing. His IQ is high, but his EQ is low. Unfortunately, to build something sustaining is more a function of EQ in this case.

I understand he ranks behind Senators Rand and Cruz and being the least liked and hardest to work with in Congress. I could go on. My own preferred candidate dropped out, so i now support Biden for the reasons above.

18. The primary elections will get held, anyway

Because the presidential race isn't the only one on the ballot. Every state has races at the federal, state and local level that need to pick candidates for the November ballot.

Now, granted, some primary races are mere formalities, like the one in my Congressional district. There was never any doubt that Joaquin Castro would become the Democratic candidate, and there's no doubt he will win in November. But races elsewhere have competitive primaries and then will have tough races in November. And those still need to get decided.
