Voters in upcoming primary states: check for your polling place again

I checked mine several weeks ago online at the board of elections website, and everything was cool: same place as last year. I decided to check again today, because the city newspaper was saying some locations might change and that they're having trouble finding poll workers. Indeed, my polling place has changed to "not yet assigned." We were planning to vote on Tuesday, but we've now decided to go to an early voting site this afternoon or tomorrow instead. Because who knows where (or when) our precinct polling place will be assigned.

Coronavirus is affecting the elections in major ways. I suspect that the people at the site of our previous polling place decided they didn't want a lot of people marching through. This is going to be happening in a lot of cities and states.

So if you were planning to vote next week or later, please, check your voter status and polling place online, and act accordingly.
Here, we can still early vote until March 16 (primary is March 17).

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Here in Columbus, over a dozen locations have changed because of COVID-19.

And many poll workers are of an age and health status that makes it more dangerous for them to get the virus.
Our schools are going to be closed, so that relieves some of the stress.

I called our elections office & they told me some places have changed due to being around the elderly, but my polling place has stayed the same.

I am in Lee County Florida.
