It's about where Biden stands on some of these issues. Maybe it's because of the multi-candidate debates and the lack of substance/focus on stupid issues like Hillary Clinton's comments about Bernie and arguing over electability and polls, but I honestly don't know where Biden stands on a lot of the things Bernie talks about. I'd like to know what he is offering besides just a return to normalcy - not to underestimate the value of returning to normalcy and having a Democrat appoint RBG's replacement.

When Obama was elected, we knew that the stimulus and health care were going to be his big pushes right away. I know a little bit about what Biden has proposed, but I don't know what his big legislative pushes are going to be at the start of his presidency. What are his big priorities? For Bernie I know that answer. I don't really know it with Biden and I would like to.

This is all about Bernie. The only reason he's still in the race is because this is about Bernie Sanders and the movement that is centered on Bernie Sanders. As it always is.

Biden has already sold himself to voters. That's why he's blowing out Sanders. Sanders should be more concerned about why people are not voting for him than why they are voting for Biden. Sanders is losing decisively and it's rather presumptuous of him to believe that he gets to set the parameters of the debate and set the agenda.

Here's the thing - if he overstays his welcome (again) it will only harm his movement, and there's already evidence - turned in by the voters - that his movement is in serious decline. I think there's going to be much less tolerance of the kind of nonsense that happened in 2016 at the convention and if Sanders insists on dragging this out, he will only further turn people off and will accomplish nothing.

Personally, I hope he stays in the race until Biden has a majority because it will firmly close the door and eliminate any excuses his supporters have about "what if" and "if only".

16. Our big push needs to be to rid ourselves of the DT-rot

He has damaged our agencies and institutions across the board, slashed taxes for the top percentile and underfunded everything outside of the military, and blown up our debt. It will not be an overnight fix. We need a strong coalition to approach it and begin to undo the damage. "Issues", aside from trying to reinstate the ones Obama put in place for the environment, protection of public lands, health care, etc., won't get a "big push" for a long time. We will have to fight the good fight on every piece of wrongdoing we try to right and it will take time.
Add to that all efforts to regain trust abroad. Yikes.
The rest of it will have to wait. Just remember how hard the right worked to kneecap Obama and you might get the idea of what lies ahead.

What Democrats aren't for universal healthcare? What Democrats aren't for raising the minimum wage? What Democrats aren't for reducing/eliminating childhood poverty?

Sanders is yet again purposefully being divisive to enhance his brand while hurting Democrats, the Democratic Party, and our country's last hope to correct course and cure this Trump blight currently infecting our nation.

I am not sure if Ted Kennedy wanted Medicare for all or another type of national healthcare. Never heard from Sanders in all those years and I am 90 now.

Taking a few steps back, it was quite rich that Bernie -- the guy who's embraced the same ideology for 30 years yet has succeeded in enacting virtually none of it -- was asking Joe -- the guy who helped get the Affordable Care Act enacted into law -- what he was going to do about getting people health care coverage.

He thinks they will save him. But he could be very wrong about that - there are 93 colleges and universities in Michigan full of voting age young folks that could have saved him last night if they really wanted to. I guess they didn't, hence the Biden victory.
