She has the power to basically put an end to this. She needs to exercise it.

(39,991 posts)First she split the progressive vote and sunk Bernie by staying in too long. Now she's prolonging the race by not endorsing his opponent.
Damn you, Liz, just damn you!

(1,537 posts)Let the freaking voters decide.
It is not Liz's job to end Sander's campaign (not that I believe her endorsement would do as much.) It is not her responsibility to do so. All the people salivating for Bernie to drop out need to remember that it is MARCH, the convention isn't until July, and lots of people still haven't gotten a chance to vote.
Let the process play out. Let the VOTERS decide who the nominee will be.
There is already discontent among Sanders voters because of how so many "establishment" (i.e. moderate democrats) either dropped out of the race, or jumped to endorse Biden within a very short period of time, which dramatically changed how things went for Bernie. Now, people voted how they voted. Fair is fair. However, remember that if we want to win in November we will need those people to vote with us. We will need to unify. All these screechy calls that Bernie has to drop out NOW and OMG how come he is still in the race are costing us votes in November.
Let the process play out. If Biden is going to get the most votes, he will get the most votes.
