Just the way the Biden team planned it, in four easy steps:

1. 4th Iowa
2. Lull them to sleep with 5th in NH
3. Distant second in NV...
4. Dominate nearly everywhere else.

Classic primary strategy.

This because the Iowa Governor was running, so the other candidates did not even bother to mount a campaign there.

Bill Clinton ended up winning none of the first four states, but he swept the South and went on to slaughter his opponents left and right. Every Democrat in modern history who has gone on to take the White House has swept the South. For months before Iowa, Joe Biden said that his firewall was South Carolina. He built his entire campaign on winning with African Americans in the South. Now, people who don't realize that winning the Democratic Primary is really about sweeping the South, and not about Iowa and New Hampshire, want to pretend that Joe Biden's Sweep of the South was an accident.

Let them have their delusions.

Warren chased the Biden to Bloomberg vote back to Biden and then Clyburn homered him in.
