Rules? RULES? RULES?!?
We be pirates and pastafarians here. We don't need no stinkin' rules!
The hosts be the ultimate arbitrators of what is and what is not disrupting, and will apply the rules just as arbitrarily! Power will be used and abused as we please.
So mind your p's and q's mateys!

(18,219 posts)The only thing I would change is "We don't need any rules!" to "We don't need no stinking rules!" But then again, I enjoy using lousy grammar just to piss off the grammar Nazis.

(126,683 posts)The only acceptable pasta is big flat noodles, such as lasagna. Fettuccine is just rude, and linguini really stinks. Spaghetti -- well, whether whether it flies or simply sits on the plate, just don't go there. And angel-hair will probably spark the next world war

(7,753 posts)Is that spaghetti with chunks of some kind of sawdust-and-squirrel's lips fake meat out of a can? WTF?
Now someone's going to tell me it's some kind of American GOURMET SPECIALITY, AREN'T YOU?

Hey, remember Larry Craig's favorite recipe? A hot dog stuck thru a baked potato.
You can't make this shit up!

produce rave reviews like this: ... I only ate half the hot dog because it really had no business being in there ...

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
