A GRIMSBY couple celebrated their nuptials in a most unusual way.
Richard and Amber Peall (was Petchey) tied the knot in a pirate-themed wedding this afternoon, which also fittingly falls on International Talk Like A Pirate Day.
The swashbuckling ceremony took place at Cleethorpes Registry Office followed by the reception at Grimsby Town Hall.
The couple call themselves Pastafarians who belong to the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, a social movement that promotes a light-hearted view of religion.
When asked why they wanted to hold a pirate themed wedding, Richard simply replied: "Pirates are awesome".
