I am the only candidate in this race with 15 years of elected executive experience. OMalley said more than once during a 13-minute stump speech and about 20 minutes of question-and-answer.
That was part of OMalleys sales pitch, too. Voters who look at his 15 years of elected executive experience will see a fearless advancing of progressive goals and progressive values, OMalley said. I dont apologize for them. I plan to speak fearlessly about the progressive values and progressive goals that are going to make our country better.

Interesting: OMalley offered the right ideas, progressive ideas, said Terry Lessmeier of Mount Vernon and might be a nice fit compared to Sanders who is not discreet and Clinton who is too discreet in expressing progressive values.

One thing I like about O'Malley is that he remains civil and self-disciplined even when strongly asserting his progressive ideas. Those who disagree with him do not feel intimidated by him. His manner is inclusive. He is honest and progressive, but without a sledge hammer. His principles are firm. He has accomplished a lot as an executive. And he is likable. He is a good fit for many democrats. Many folks with an eye and ear for subtle strength, confidence, and rationality will be drawn to him.
