O'Malley Has A Great Campaign Team-

He has drawn some very well connected and talented players-

Here’s a look at the key players in O’Malley’s orbit, many of whom are alumni of President Barack Obama’s previous campaigns — and with more names to come:

• Bill Hyers is the campaign’s top strategist. He previously was campaign manager on New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s mayoral race in 2013. In 2012, he was Obama’s Pennsylvania state director, and he has also worked for Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.).

• Lis Smith is deputy campaign manager overseeing communications, policy and research. Smith, a prominent Democratic operative, served as Obama’s director of rapid response during the 2012 campaign, and has worked for de Blasio, for the Democratic Governors Association, and on a host of other campaigns.

• Gabriela Domenzain is director of public engagement. Domenzain served as director of Hispanic media for Obama in 2012.

• Karine Jean-Pierre is deputy campaign manager overseeing political, constituency and fieldwork, with a focus on the early states. She has worked in the Obama White House, in the Office of Political Affairs, and in 2012 served as Obama’s deputy battleground states director.

• Hailey Arends is chief financial officer. She worked on Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign, for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and on a number of other contests.

• Sarah Miller is policy director. She previously served on Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign, at the Treasury Department and at the Center for American Progress, where she worked as a top aide to John Podesta, who is now Clinton’s campaign chairman.

• Haley Morris is press secretary. Last fall, she held the same position on Sen. Gary Peters’ successful campaign in Michigan. She has worked on a number of other Senate races, as well as for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
