'I plan to . . .

Nine years ago this week, I stood in front of the Maryland Statehouse and addressed the people of Maryland as Governor for the first time.

I laid out my vision for the future of Maryland, and then I got it done. We raised the minimum wage and passed a living wage. We passed marriage equality and the DREAM Act and defended them both at the ballot box. It was not easy, and I had to work with my colleagues from both sides of the aisle.

Now, I plan to do the same as President. Over the past eight months, I have laid out my vision for America. We need to pass comprehensive immigration reform and gun safety legislation. We need to take actions to combat climate change, and to work with our neighbors across the world to save our planet.

People always ask me if I am to the left or right of my opponents. I tell them: I'm to the forward of them. I have the leadership and experience to move us past these divided times, work with those who disagree with me, and get things done.

Donate now so I can bring my leadership, experience, and vision to the White House.

Thank you,
Martin
