"Thank you.
I wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you for your commitment to me and to this campaign. Thanks to you, we met our goals for end of quarter fundraising, and our campaign is in a strong place moving forward towards the Iowa caucus.
Thank you.
Not to mention, we didn't stop for one second to take a break after end of quarter. Instead of taking time to catch up on sleep, the very next day I launched a comprehensive plan to fight big money in politics.

I also penned an op-ed on the subject in Medium:

Im not naïve: I know campaign resources are important. But the staggering figures required to run for the highest office in the land arent as much a sign of muscle as they are an indication of just how broken our democracy is.
As Democrats, we shouldnt let big money do the talking. We should be talking about who has the best plan for clean energy, paid leave, debt-free college and a higher minimum wage. I am eager for that conversation.
But until we get money out of politicsand until we start having meaningful debateswe will continue to cede the stage to Republican ideas.
I hope you'll take some time today to read through my plan and to share my op-ed. And again, thank you for your contribution to my campaign.
Martin O'Malley"
