Martin O'Malley
Related: About this forumThe DNC approached the O’Malley campaign in February, March, and April with its six-debate proposal,
according to Smith, and she said the campaign shot the DNC down each time. And not only was there no negotiation, Smith said, but the DNC also lied about the exclusivity clause, which stipulates that candidates cant participate in events not sanctioned by the DNC. The party assured the OMalley campaign there wouldnt be one, Smith said, but then, an hour before announcing its debate schedule, it changed course.

(19,326 posts)Thanks to O'Malley peeps for going public with these important "details" about
the dirty tricks used to force this abysmal debate schedule on Democratic primary
candidates, for the sole benefit of Hillary, until she loses to a GOP Clown in the GE.

(19,326 posts)Bernie somehow got enough traction ahead of the debate tamp-down on ANY
challenger to Hillary the Inevitable, O'Malley not so much; but he's still an
awesome candidate who's getting shut-out of serious exposure, deliberately
undermining the very notion of democracy & open public discourse.
