'Join us on September 16.'
Ellen,
What do Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton have in common?
They've both said they support having more Democratic Party debates.
More and more people have been calling on the DNC to get rid of its unprecedented and punitive exclusivity clause and to allow more debates. You have seen the Governor continue to push for more debates over the past monthand he's been joined by dozens of leaders in early states like Iowa and NH.
Now, we need your help.
A group called Allow Debate has scheduled a protest outside the DNC headquarters, and we want to help them out.
RSVP today to join "Allow Debate" at their protest one week from today on Wednesday, September 16. It's not far: they're located at 430 South Capitol Street in Washington, D.C., and afterwards you can join us to watch the next Republican debate at a bar nearby.
It's important that we bring our call for more debates directly to the group that is restricting candidates' ability to debate. The lack of debates is, frankly, undemocratic. So let's take action.
Join us as we support "Allow Debate," and the many voters who feel strongly that at the core of our democracy is the right to openly debate and to give every voter the best possible chance to hear from every candidate before making a critical decision.
RSVP today:
