O’Malley adds stops to Iowa swing this week.

Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley has added five stops to his visit to Iowa this week.

The presidential candidate was already set to speak at the Register’s State Fair Soapbox and the Iowa Democratic Party’s Wing Ding event.

The visit to Iowa marks the governor’s eighth since announcing his bid for the presidency, and its focus will be on retail politics, allowing the candidate to more intimately engage with Iowans at the state fair and other smaller events, according to a release from the campaign.
