Governor O’Malley Returns to Iowa on Friday, July 24th for Two-Day Swing
4PresidentBlog:
Des Moines Following a fiery speech at the Hall of Fame Dinner where he was called the "night's biggest surprise, a liberals liberal, and the moral compass, Governor OMalley will return to Iowa this Friday, July 24th, for a two-day swing through the Des Moines area, Knoxville, and Winterset.
Governor OMalley exceeded expectations this past weekend according to media reports, and received several standing ovations and big cheers as he made a strong case for new leadership and highlighted his long record of getting things done on progressive values. This week, he will hold multiple events around Iowa on Friday and Saturday to further detail his plans to rebuild the American Dream and support middle-class families and small businesses.
Governor OMalley has made Iowa the focus of his campaign and spent more time in state than any other democratic candidate. This is his sixth trip to Iowa since announcing on May 30th. OMalley will continue to devote significant time in Iowa this summer, focusing on retail politics in Iowa, where a hand-shake and an honest conversation matter far more than even the largest rally.
