He will deliver a policy speech at a National Press Club Speakers Luncheon on July 23.
Since announcing his candidacy in Baltimore's Federal Hill Park on May 30, O'Malley has released a jobs agenda focused on renewable energy, a higher education proposal for high-quality, debt-free college education for students attending in-state public colleges or universities, and earlier this month, an open letter to Wall Street mega-banks calling for stronger reforms. O'Malley is expected to address these and additional policy announcements at the luncheon event. . .
The Press Club luncheon will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. Remarks will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by a question-and-answer session, ending at 12:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchase by going to the following LINK. The cost of luncheon admission is $23 for National Press Club member (members can buy two tickets at this price) and $37 for non-members. Tickets must be purchased at time of reservation.

Love that my candidate is the one talking about policy details and leading on issues. Proud O'Malley supporter.

I don't expect him to match Sanders's numbers but I am hoping for at least $2mm. But, that might be optimistic.

(136,064 posts)haven't looked either. HOPE he does as well as he expects on his ?upcoming? trip to Rhode Island. WISH I could do more than I can!
I've donated a few times (small amounts). Wish I could do more as well. The one thing I like about O'Malley is that his campaign isn't spamming us for donations constantly.
