Will you stand up to Wall Street?

For too long, megabanks have posed enormous risks to our economy, and to taxpayers like yourself.

For too long, we've watched as American families struggle to pay their debts while CEOs run reckless on Wall Street with OUR hard-earned money.

Enough is enough. Today, sign my letter to the megabanks of Wall Street. Let's tell them that we are not only fed up—we are taking action.

It's not complicated: because these institutions are so large, so leveraged, and pose such a grave threat to our economy, they don’t face the same rules of the free market that apply to everyone else. If their bets go bad, they don’t face bankruptcy—taxpayers (WE) bail them out. When things go well, they reap the benefits and cash in exorbitant bonuses. This violates the very principle of free market capitalism.

As President, I would end this double standard of justice. It's bad for the economy, and bad for our country.

What else would YOU tell Wall Street? What else angers you about this great injustice? What is my letter missing? Join me: read my letter to Wall Street, and add your comments.

I have the advantage of being a former Governor and Mayor, and I have a stump to speak from as a candidate for President. When I talk, people listen. So when I send this letter to Wall Street CEOs, they'll hear me—and I want your voice right there with mine.

Add your voice to this letter today—tell the megabanks and CEOs of Wall Street how you want to hold them accountable, and what actions you want us to take to keep our economy thriving.

thanks,

Martin O'Malley

P.S. I'm giving a big speech on July 23rd and I'll be highlighting some of your comments. Make sure you add your voice today!
