Stands for "Jackpine Radicals" - not "Jefferson Public Radio."

But at some point, I'm sure it will become the first Google result.

(Just thought I'd mention that on the way out, since there are still some who haven't gotten the memo.)

REASON FOR ALERT

This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

This post is trying to drive traffic to a website that solicits donations and is a direct competition to DU. They also disparage Skinner and DU members by name. This should be hidden.

I ignored it.

Skinner actually owns a site that really DOES do everything JPR is falsely accused of - Discussionist. He deliberately set up a DU "competition" site, tolerates "vile" comments @ Hillary and the admins, and DU members are Dummies.

His response to merrily indicates to me that he's going to let juries hide or not. But if Hillary supporters are going to try to hide any post mentioning JPR, then Discussionist should be off limits.

I have to laugh @ the accusations @ JPR - they don't even allow ANY discussion of DU or members. And yup, it's a site dedicated to changing the Democratic party which means Hillary isn't protected there from real criticism.

the site for a couple of minutes as they talk about it. Like I sign on and want to check the latest news, so I click here. Then I want to see what the hot discussion topics are, so I go here. This is how to follow and comment in a discussion thread. If there's a particular group or topic I want to follow, I go here. Here's how to start a thread.

That kind of thing. They could film it and post it for $0 in 15 minutes.

my experience of the test version 2 is it's incredibly fast.

I'm on an antique laptop w/Vista and forced onto (I forget the browser I'm on) the last major browser that stills supports Vista.
