(21,068 posts)Vaped some flower that was over 30% THC last night from a dispensary.
A small bit and that was the end of it for the night!
You save a lot of $$$$ vaping needless to say.
The higher the THC level, the less you need to use to vape.

I use the box with the whip.
I used to get bronchitis every year.
Since I began vaping, it has never recurred again.
That has been over 12 years now!

Tried it once and had to lay down...started tripping.

(2,479 posts)I also wanted to give my lungs a break after too many years of smoking, but I found tinctures totally useless. I probably could have used the whole bottle at once and not felt anything, and I also found the same to be true for tablets. Homemade brownies work for me, but they are ridiculously expensive to make. I was using concentrates for a while, with a Pulsar apx vaporizer, but it's too close to smoking for me. My current strategy is just to give myself a several month break and I'm hoping edibles might be helpful after cleaning my system. Years ago in Colorado I found edibles to be helpful, so I'm hoping that will be true again.

(2,479 posts)Sublingual, did about the size of a grain of rice, kicked in ~45 minutes later. Nice and easy buzz, not the cheapest option but saves the lungs!

(30,166 posts)instead of tincturing. There is just cannabis-infused water that doesn't need to be refrigerated. I'm thinking of bottling it in 4oz drop bottles. I'll let you know how it goes.

(30,166 posts)other things and possible fire, etc from cooking, so distillation seems the logical step. The hydrolizer splits the water and the oil. Very little oil, but lots of water. We'll see. I thought to use my stimulus but that looks a long way off.

(2,593 posts)Using decarbed, finely ground cannabis flower. If you eat with it, it will hit you within 45 minutes. Its easy to make. Bought capsules and capsule filler on Amazon.

(2,593 posts)Grind the herb in a blender, as fine as possible. Put it in the oven in a turkey bag for 40 minutes at 240. I usually use sugar trim.

(20,313 posts)To me, the taste isn't that terrible. It's no worse than taking kratom straight! 🤮
First time I tried straight flower, I couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting any effect. Then I discovered the concept of decarboxylation...
Now I put the raw flower into a small slow cooker for an hour; it comes out perfect!
