15. Hey! I was just in Colorado Springs two days ago.

Went to see the Garden Of The Gods.

Weird day. In one day, I visited one of the most liberal cities in Colorado, Boulder, and one of the most conservative, Colorado Springs.

My fundy step-daughter wanted us to see the GotG. As we went into the visitor's center, a sign said: "How did these rocks get this way"? It being Colorado Springs, I was sure the answer would be: "Because God made them that way! Science is EVIL!"

The first display I saw when I walked in talked about 'billions of years...' so I knew I was all right.

One reason I left was the fundie crowd. I could tell you some hair raising stories! Plus, they won't even sell pot in the city proper. You have to go to Manitou. Stupid tRumpers allover Colorado Springs!

Any preconceived notions go away in my opinion.
It's so individual though.

A strong word of advice...have an experienced person with you as a guide. Especially with LSD. I say this is mandatory for the inexperienced.
