Legalised cannabis use may help solve Americas opioid crisis, two scientific studies have suggested.
Two separate peer-reviewed studies in the journal JAMA Internal Medicine found significant drops in opioid prescribing in US states that had relaxed their cannabis laws.
Both studies appear to offer insights into possible ways to solve a crisis that saw 17,087 people die from prescription opioid overdoes in the US in 2016.

In fact, the conspiracy theorist in my head wouldn't be surprised to find out that Big Pharma intentionally hooked the pain-wracked segment of the US population solely for the purpose of weening them off opioids at the cost of $5/per synthetic THC pill, 3 pills/day for several months!

All that money for guards might go for teachers.
It WILL go for building, maintaining and staffing both private, state and a third, federal prisons. This is a vicious cycle that goes round & round! Its the god damned money, always the fucking money!
