Related: About this forumTwo fold purpose for this post..
First. This is the first time using Postimage wanted to see how it worked
Second. To share pics of my crop. This plant is from bag seed. It is the eighth generation of plants from the original. I have a sustainable method ensuring I get seeds from each crop. This was a total experiment in growing this time.
I used only water from our nearby river. Nutrients started with a very weak solution of General Hydroponics grow. Then I went to total organic using a Comfrey tea. This was my best result.
Next grow Im using seeds I purchased from a seed bank. Autoflowering strains. First time with real seeds. Any autoflowering growing advice will be appreciated.

(27,275 posts)We used to grow, but stopped a few years ago when it became cheaper to buy it at a dispensary.. imagine that!!
I loved growing my own but also love to travel and found that to be not compatible.

(62,068 posts)much art as it is method. Using natural fertilizers is about the only totally good advice I got or give. Looks like you'll figure it out pretty darn well enough on your own. Another tip that worked for me was whats good for tomatoes works well for pot.
Send some pictures of your next step results. I bet they'll be prime.
If you need some outside quality control procedure performed - I'm your man.

(20 posts)Been growing autos, and nothing but, for years.
You will find the same diversity as in regular pot plants. Picky eaters, monsters, etc.
My growing method is extremely demanding. I get up in the morning, turn the light on, when I go to bed, I turn the light off. About once a week, I fill the reservoir.
That's it.
Because I use a reservoir pot with a big reservoir, irrigation tolerance is an issue. But it's not a big deal, feed it half as much roughly twice as often.
The big thing is that you are on a clock. So any hiccup, transplant shock, whatever, is going to impact the harvest. I usually run them longer than it says on the label. This last one was a med plant, and slow and stingy with the trichomes. I let the big leaves go, and it wasn't until the tiny leaves on the buds went yellow that I chopped it.

(10,784 posts)Thats one reason Im going the auto route. Sounds like you dont do any low stress training.
Ive done that on the photo period for a number of grows.

(20 posts)I have a small tent, there's no real point in low stress, I'd just move a large part of the plant out of the cone that is the max output area of the light.
You can do that with autos, just be sure to go slow and easy.
