Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows about the legality of CBD oil in Texas.
My mother has MS and someone close to us has started up a CBD oil company and is offering to give us some for free. Before accepting their request, (especially since we now have Trump in the White House with Sessions as AG, and that I live in an extremely conservative part of the state) I was wondering if possessing this would even be legal.
From my own internet searches it appears that possessing CBD oil in Texas is legal BUT ONLY if you have Epilepsy and nothing else works. My mom doesn't have Epilepsey so I fear that it might be illegal for us to own it. Is this correct? Or am I missing something and there might be some loop hole.

(796 posts)not weed. it's the medical portion of marijuana. but if you're in Texas, they will be coming for you. heaven forbid, that there could be medicine with the only aftereffects of hunger or needing a bowel movement. oh no. if she has MS, do what you can to get her signed up for medical. so much more beneficial than any opioid. period.

(5,267 posts)It is sold in vitamin stores and on mail order. It is legal.
I buy it in powder capsules from cannacompanion for my dog to control tumor growths, alleviate pain, enhance appetite and general well-being. Also helps with epilepsy.
