As we ingest more and more cannabInoids

Whether inhalation, sublingually, digestive, rectal, or vaginally or any other combination therein.

I feel that it benefits my overall health immensely as I am 59 and pretty boring medically.

I love this plant. It is sacred to me.

...are seemingly immune from federal reach if small scale. As in personal use. As they say...medically. I have my doctor's recommendation. It has helped my health.

Internal ingestion is usually in the form of infused oils like coconut oil.

Love coconut oil...I support Dr. Bronners.

2 hits in an evening, and I am able to be on my feet for 4 or more hours the next afternoon at a volunteer thing I do every week. (Today I did a special event and was on my feet from 2:30 until about 9:30, plus the 10-block walk from he bus. Right now I'm tired, but my knees don't hurt and I can stand up from my chair without having to push myself up.) Pain (inflammation) melts away, and I'm usually good for several days, up to a week. Without it I can barely make it up the 2 flights of stairs.

The first time I tried it, the very next day one of the other people asked what I was doing different, since I made it all the way up the stairs without griping. She had noticed how different my gait was when going up and down the stairs.

The low THC/high CBD strains usually get me 'relaxed' for 20 minutes to ½ hour (not couch-lock stoned - just calm and relaxed), the pain melts away, and I can function normally for the rest of the day without any noticeable effects.

might consider doing so for this.

Not sure how to go about it, cant smoke, actually, lungs are shot from cigarette smoking.

I have not smoked cigarettes in over 10 years but I dont dare smoke anything, would have to be in food form.

Start off with 3 or 4mg, wait two hours, and see how that feels. Insufficient? Ingest 3 or 4mg more and wait. A friend in Tampa who hadn't consumed cannabis in any form since the 70's thought he could handle 15mg (not a large dose for regular consumers) and had an uncomfortable experience. Ease back into it before going full-on Iron Butterfly.

Interesting to see the evolution here.

I've also been hearing more lately that you need to have a substantial amount of THC for the CBD to function properly. I think I can agree with this, as some of the earlier products that were very low in THC and high in CBD didn't do much of anything for pain. Since trying the 1:1 ratio, pain relief seems better. But it's still anecdotal at this point.

edibles. Most of them have high THC. I use 100mg THC for migraines. That works better for me than high CBD. I'm not sure why.

It's called Care by Design. It works pretty well. It comes in several ratios but my Dr. recommended the 1:1.

I have some low dose 5mg Indica tablets that I take at night sometimes. Sometimes I just break them in half. Doesn't take much. I sleep all night and don't wake up groggy or fuzzy headed.
