During my recent visit to Denver I heard that apartment vacancy rates in some parts of the city are very close to ZERO, despite the "official" rate of under 5%. In Houston, which has been booming, the rates have been hovering around 9%.
Rents have increased in Denver by around 20% just since the start of 2015.
People are bidding up and up and up on homes for sale. Buyers are having a tough time finding inventory.
Gee now, I just wonder, how much of this could be attributable to marijuana, and people moving to Colorado to participate in the green revolution? I would say, quite a large % of it.
I have been unable to find any stats showing how many people are lately moving into Colorado vs moving out of Colorado, but I have a feeling that it is experiencing a green rush. The wife and I are close to retirement and are looking to join that migration.
And Texas just sits there, smug. You want another boom, Texas? You know what to do.

only place to indulge is in your own private residence. No bars, Hotels, Parks. No where.
