Still bupkes about Bernie in DU's Left Column

Setting attendance records, rocketing in the polls... what might he have to do to be included in The Left Column?

A mystery.

Maybe because we can only have economic OR social justice, not both, and Bernie chose the former?

And when did Bernie choose the former?

(I'm sure you were being facetious, but too many people on here will latch onto that and say even Manny thinks so...)

Under the graphic of Trump, in the left center of the page, you'll see 'trending now', 'greatest threads' and 'the left column'.

Trending now and Greatest threads are presumably chosen by the software, simply based on statistics. 'The Left Column' appears to be stories chosen to highlight on the front page by staff. Doesn't matter as much for regular site users, who probably read the site more from latest threads, their subscriptions and so on, but for casual visitors, the homepage is where they land, and where they're most likely to 'get a feel for' the site.

I see... so no mention of Bernie in "The Left Column". My that is odd. I wonder why that is?

Certainly not Bernie. Usually it's obvious to me when you're playing, but I'm not getting that hit in this piece. Unless I'm misunderstanding you(?)

There have been a bunch of posts stating that because Bernie speaks more about income inequality, he somehow is soft on social inequality.

see the one that insinuated Bernie didn't support same sex marriage? that OP made a remarkably ridiculous attempt at arguing that Bernie refused to make a point of supporting Same Sex marriage because he never publicly said so (used those words) back in the 70's, despite all of his on the record support for civil rights and equality positions made in public and in office.

Truly desparate

Aren't you on some damning Facebook list? Socialist kibbutzim! Were you even born in the USA? Yet, you're anti-immigrant! Shame on you for all that (internally inconsistent) stuff!\
