from Psalms 30:5, KJV

The person with whom I most love to discuss politics is a Democrat who is to my right politically and way above me intellectually.

During a conversation a few years ago, I was feeling down about where the Party had gone. He assured me the pendulum would swing back because, according to him, it always does. I am starting to see signs that make me think he was correct, as usual.

The standard reply by third-wayers is the left is trying to hijack the party. I find that funny since they started their organization with the sole purpose of moving the party to the right. So why deny it? Shouldn't they be proud of themselves and take a bow?
