Populist Sen. Bernie Sanders to run? Seems that way:

Bernie Sanders to Announce Presidential Run As a Democrat

(Reuters) - Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont, the longest-serving independent member of the U.S. Congress, will announce his candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination on Thursday, Vermont Public Radio reported on Tuesday.

He will release a short statement and hold a campaign kickoff event in subsequent weeks, VPR said, citing several sources.

It looks it is definite. This great news!

But you'd better believe it, that ++$4billion machine will be buying up liberal/leftist media as quickly and slickly as possible.

(Even at DU, in '08 did the owner of the site suddenly start posting OPs in favor of a certain Dem candidate from the get-go, before any other candidates entered the race? I'd say that Obama had a fairer fight, way back then, in olden times.)

Will Bernie have a professional campaign photographer, to design state portraits of a Commander In Chief and of Royalty, both already existing and in waiting?

It'll be a tough fight.

I've already lined up one vote for Bernie, and I didn't even get started yet.

Nor has he, lol!

If you are a salesperson, having a great product you believe in yourself to sell, makes it a whole lot easier when you have a product you know isn't the best.

Bernie is the real deal. We don't have to attack everyone who isn't on board, all we have to do is present people with his record, with the work he has done for those who elected him, with where he stands on the issues, without being defensive.'

Iow, we can be proud of the candidate we support.

He kept his word, he said he would run if we wanted him to.

There will be smear campaigns against, right now Think Tanks and Security Contractors are pouring over his life trying to find something, ANYTHING to try to get us to hesitate in our support.

We will recognize when we see it.

We recognize it with Warren. 'She was a Republican' as if that is relevant to whether she is right or wrong on the issues.

I have decided not to get bogged down with those throwing out the paid-for with Corporate money, smears or those who try to peddle them.

It's a waste of time. His record in politics is all we need.

Anyone who does that, is doing it because they have nothing else.

It is GOLD to have a candidate like Bernie. We can just keep talking about what he represents, which is what a majority of the people want.

Now we know real issues will
be brought to the debate floor.

Vapid Centrism will be challenged.
And empty rhetoric will be confronetd.

Yay, Bernie!
