Send them a message. I don't understand why it's not working for you. Took less than a minute for me to get it.

Sorry you are having problems.

A few months ago, I approved a proposal to consider new, limited offshore drilling under the assurance that it would be absolutely safe, that the proper technology would be in place and the necessary precautions would be taken.

That obviously was not the case in the Deepwater Horizon rig, and I want to know why.

“not a decision that I’ve made lightly” and that he and his advisers had “looked at [it] closely for more than a year.”

One thing about Obama, when it comes to justice he just won't challenge large institutions.

Just look at SEC, CIA, NSA, etc

All too big to fail.

I remember how he made a sort of snide remark about those who opposed lifting the ban. They were 'not up on the technology, old fashiioned, not informed by the 'experts' who had assured him how 'safe' these rigs were today. Iow, all those lefties were just behind the times. His new BFF were living in the present, not stuck in the past like those irritating lefties etc etc.

I would have appreciated an apology, an admission that those 'lefties' were right after all. That his new BFF were greedy, lying bastards who were using him. His real friends WERE those much despised 'lefties' who voted for him because he promised that he would not lift that ban.

I remember the debate with McCain re Offshore Drilling. Obama wiped the floor with him telling him exactly why he would oppose lifting that ban.

What a price to pay, loss of trust, the lives of 11 men, the destruction of the environment. What I want to know is 'WHY'??

In his last term he was snoozing. Yet he's a president's icon, of sorts.
Why?
Charisma? Charisma plus money?

No sense of honesty whatsoever?

I guess we'd better ask Goldman Sachs about our future.
