The Populist Movement is Growing

The Populist Movement is showing up in many different areas around the country. At present it is disjointed but IMO it will continue grow.

The debt strike, which launched Monday as part of the Debt Collective campaign, is led by the Corinthian Fifteen, former students of Everest College—part of the scandal-ridden for-profit Corinthian college chain. They’re undertaking financial civil disobedience against the private lending industry, demanding cancellation of federal student debts and voicing dissatisfaction with piecemeal debt relief programs. The actual financial impact of their campaign is negligible, but for the former students, this collective action is a way for them to reassert their economic sovereignty:

we've got to work within our "Interest Groups" to use "People Power" for change from "Grassroots Upward"...not "Top Down."

So good to see young people out there again...working for their rights to EDUCATION without being in dept, forever and beholden to the ideas of those who hold their debt over them.

" hold their debt over them" Change the bankruptcy laws so corporate personhood is the same as a natural person. Why should a corporate person be able to discharge their debt while a student can't?

OR.... just not play the capitalist game anymore.

are employed and somewhat happy. They will bring this revolution and it will be a revolution. Non-violent but I doubt it. The problem is that capitalist are willing to kill the goose in spite of their face and it will come back on them.

We don't need a leader. The movement is moving.
