security for them.

You would think that every single Rep. in DC would be demanding what he is demanding. The fact that they are not is proof that the people are not a concern at all for our government.

Bernie should not be unique at all. The fact that he is is a terrible indictment of the entire system.

IDEAS/ISSUES won while those who were elected to fight for them, have obviously lost the confidence of the voters.

that Dems have moved so far from this platform that Sanders has to identify as an Independent

Dems had been running on the issues HE talks about. They would not be losing members and elections. And there would be far more like him, IF the Dem Party Leadership was willing to SUPPORT candidates like Bernie. Which as we have seen, they are not.
