he continues to get eaten alive when supposedly playing defense.

other than dribbling, what does he do that justifies the hype he gets?

I'd rather have John Wall from the teams in the east. A little bigger, a little faster and plays defense far better. Still not that good a shooter, but he's certainly not worse than Irving.

The big hype was based upon his draft position and the need to anoint a big 3 in Cleveland when Lebron came back.

had Love and Irving played.

You can't play with only 3 decent defenders on the floor against Golden State.

That's madness.

After what we all saw last series do any of u doubt the Warriors will come back with a vengeance? Cmon. This was a gimme game. Tristan Thompson is NOT gonna put up those kinda numbers again. JR " the chucker" Smith got hot but he is streaky , same as Irving. The Warriors are consistent in what they do night in and night out. The Cavs don't have enough.

I would not have thought of Teague, even if i took the time earlier. Wall just popped into my head, but yeah, i would take Teague over Irving.

Ive said that all along. Ok. Bum is s bit harsh but he is quick I'll give him that. Other than that , I don't see it. He plays zero D, can't shoot. I don't get the hype either. I guess it's because he's on LB's team. I laugh whenever I hear people call him an elite PG. now D Lilliard is another story.
