Badgers women's basketball coach Marisa Moseley resigns after four seasons
Wisconsin Badgers women’s basketball head coach Marisa Moseley resigned on Sunday, UW Athletic Director Chris McIntosh announced.
Moseley had gone 47-75 in four losing seasons at Wisconsin, including a poor 21-51 record in Big Ten play, most recently bowing out in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament this past week.
“I notified Chris McIntosh of my decision to resign for personal reasons,” Moseley said in a statement. “It has been a privilege to lead the program at Wisconsin. I am grateful for the student-athletes, coaches and staff in our program who have put in so much time and effort. I am appreciative, also, of the Badger fans who supported us at the Kohl Center and around the country.”
The Badgers will conduct a national search for their next head coach, with associate head coach Margaret McKeon taking over the interim head coach duties in the meantime.
