Truvia is not Stevia...

it includes stevia as the second ingredient, but the first is erythmitol, one of the sugar alcohols.

Just 2-4 packets of the stuff in the morning had me running by the afternoon.

Back to Splenda in my coffee and problem solved. Looking for Stevia source without the addition. If it must be mixed, I'd rather mix it with plain ol' sugar for the 2g of carbs than suffer considerable angst and possible embarrassment.

(OTOH, anyone suffering from constipation-- Truvia is a sweet answer.)

I regularly pass a store that carries it. And I'll look again in the drug aisles I pass for "non -tol" versions.

I've ordered it from Puritan's Pride in the past but the stuff was nasty. I see they have a completely new line out now and I'll try one of theirs again. Pretty cheap, too, but so was the last time.
