Related: About this forumWatched "Anatomy of a Fall" on Hulu last night. It's really
a French film with some scenes entirely in French with subtitles. I think the Academy missed the mark in not nominating Milo Machado-Graner for Best Supporting Actor. The kid was great playing the almost blind son.

I was disappointed too.
This genre is absolutely my cup of tea (true crime) but IMHO the court scenes (with subtitles) were very tedious. Court scenes are normally my favorite things to watch in movies. Trying to keep up with the subtitles may have contributed to my dislike of the film.

(3,273 posts)People can just stand up and talk from the back front or side - it was chaos. To make it worse cinematography made it more confusing. Felt like a bunch of different iPhone stitched together and they never figured out how to shoot the space they chose for it.
