Ok, the John Wick movies are bad, so why do I love them so??

2. Riddick and John Wick are 100% action with no political axes to grind.

4. Because they aren't bad.

They are straight up, unapologetically action filled dramas without any political ax to grind. We all need escapist popcorn movies.

6. I love them, too,

but I will never cease to believe that the glamour of The Matrix had something to do with the Columbine murders. Keanu Reeves is sexy and looks real good in his all-black outfits; his gymnastic moves are awesome. I can see how a disturbed young man might find John Wick an attractive role model.

I want with all my heart to believe that movies and video games have nothing to do with gun violence.

7. Movies -like any other form of media including books, can inspire people to do horrifying things

But without the means to accomplish such things, they would have a harder time.

Nothing has anything more to do with gun violence than guns themselves.
