John Humphreys, who played "Mikey" in "Teenage Strangler," has died at the age of 74.
I just found out that John Humphreys, who played "Mikey" in "Teenage Strangler" passed away at 74.
He was not an actor and it was his only film role, but after MST3K featured it he was kind enough to attend a convention and answer fan questions.
It was immediately obvious he was not a trained actor, but just some local kid given the role.
But the character was so goofy and vulnerable he became a heartfelt fan favorite.
He was a retired speech therapist still living in Huntington, W.V.
