This is not a movie that promotes or glamorizes underage sexuality. It is a semi-documentary about one girl's yearning to belong, and the naïveté that makes her fail to recognize important boundaries.
Her home life and school life are worlds apart, and juggling them is hard. The ads for the movie focus on the dancing, but dance is not sex. Music and dance have saved many a child from loneliness, and that's really what this movie is about.

Cons are also afraid of their inner turmoil and confusion. If dancing girls may overly-interest them (as may LGBT) and it scares them they may lose control of the lie they live.

(11,869 posts)I'll watch a video interesting me on You Tube as I fall asleep in bed. When I wake up I find some incredible things on. I don't know how the algorithm run on Youtube to select the next show. Like if I watch, as I did recently, a new and petty amazing theory on how the Great Pyramid was built
When I woke up at 1:30 AM in the morning I found this playing, which was also fascinating: &pp=QAA%3D
