2. My favorite movie

By far, my favorite movie. Great screenplay and direction by Billy Wilder (love Billy Wilder, everything he did was golden; just watched his first movie, The Major and the Minor, recently, always laugh out loud, it’s a great picture), great cast headed by Jack Lemmon, Shirley MacLaine and Fred MacMurray.

3. First grownup movie I ever saw in a theater. My dad was peeved when I sat through the matinee ...

and was about halfway through it when he came in the theater and nabbed me.

It was just on TMC this week.

4. Yeah, it airs on TMC every once in a while

I’ve seen it more times than I can count. I have it on Blu-ray, DVD and Beta. Yeah, I said Beta lol.

Two of the best last lines in movies — “Shut up and deal” and “Well, nobody’s perfect!”

Love Billy Wilder.
