By far, my favorite movie. Great screenplay and direction by Billy Wilder (love Billy Wilder, everything he did was golden; just watched his first movie, The Major and the Minor, recently, always laugh out loud, it’s a great picture), great cast headed by Jack Lemmon, Shirley MacLaine and Fred MacMurray.

That’s the way it crumbles, cookie-wise

I’ve seen it more times than I can count. I have it on Blu-ray, DVD and Beta. Yeah, I said Beta lol.

Two of the best last lines in movies — “Shut up and deal” and “Well, nobody’s perfect!”

Love Billy Wilder.

(I was 11 when The Apartment was in theaters. We were young and innocent in those days, it would have flown right over my head.)

“You hit the jackpot, Kubalek-wise.” (That one might not be exactly right, but if it isn’t, it’s really close

Gawd, I love that movie!
