"Glass" was actually a pretty good movie.
The only downside I see is that the middle chapter, with the psychiatrist-sessions, was too rushed. It would take many more sessions with a patient to get this far into his mind.
Okay, it wasn't a typical superhero-movie, but that's because it wasn't supposed to be a superhero-movie about superheroes fighting supervillains. It was a thriller, a drama, from the very beginning to the very end.

Oh boo-hoo.
Somebody is unhappy that Hollywood didn't press the feel-good buttons for his mind.
How dare Shyamalan make a story about superheroes that is different from the stories we are used to???

(6,568 posts)I haven't liked anything MNS put out aside from Sixth Sense. He tries to hard for his "twist".

(2,252 posts)The whole movie is a twist on super heroes. Pretty clever to keep showing the magazine cover with the word MARVEL on it. Saw a trailer for an upcoming X-Men movie that looks more horror than super hero.

(16,458 posts)It's made by 20th Century Fox. Funny thing is: Marvel can't use the word "mutant" in their movies.
Also, I'm very curious about the character Cannonball in that movie. In the comics, he's such a happy, goofy and chipper guy, until he fucks up big-time during a hostage-situation and has a mental break-down and becomes depressed and masochistic. (IIRC he eventually gets better though through therapy and friends.)
