I'll tell ya this...Roma!

Was a great film.. Extremely honest, heartbreaking and well worth it...
A long piece, but so freaking honest... The movie pays a lot of attention to the poor servants of the Mexican wealthy during a very precarious time...early 1970s..

I am willing to bet anyone here.... That this will be nominated nominated for best foreign film!

The sound engineering was great - I bet they win for that. Yes it was 'honest', but I had a hard time identifying with any of the characters except Cleo. That made it too one dimensional for me.

I heard about it, and began the movie, but the rytmne is extremely slow, so I stopped. But if you say that this is a good movie, I'll give it a second chance for sure!

But this is the odds on favorite for picture and director. Some of the scenes reminded me of Citizen Kane, except nothing was happening. I felt like I was looking at a movie more than watching a movie. The academy made so much noise about nominating popular movies like Black Panther but this snoozer looks like the winner. Where is Argo when you need it.
