Remarkable movie - "Visitors" - essentially a continuation of the "Qatsi" trio. Reggio and Glass

Incredibly profound experience - but certainly not for everyone. The soundtrack itself is worth the watch - but the images...breathtaking.

Koyaaniskatsi was pretty damned good. But I found the next two went nowhere new. One can only take so much minimalism, the change ringing metaphor just is not the best musical modality.

Yet there are some I like. Among my favorites is Satyagraha, also by Glass where he branches out a bit. I listened to a live Metropolitan Opera broadcast a few years ago and it blew me away.

I will put this in my NetFlicks queue when it is released on DVD.

I also love Samsara and Baraka....I confess to enjoying most minimalism (if I am in the right mood!)
