Related: About this forumAnyone see Detachment with Adrien Brody?
A substitute teacher who drifts from classroom to classroom finds a connection to the students and teachers during his latest assignment. What a sad film, my heart was breaking in pieces for what teachers in some schools have to endure and what monsters kids can be without guidance and self awareness.
What is being done to us?
I think Brody is probably one of the best actors around. He is absolutely wonderful no matter what he decides to do. I wouldn't call him handsome or attractive physically but his presence and demeanor make him absolutely beautiful and desireable.

More like a Colin Farrell-type funny-looking
I watched the movie last night. Wow, so powerful. He was a saint-like figure. Especially how he let his grandfather off the hook, being so kind to him despite all he'd done. What a movie... so sad, yet so ennobling.
