(32,324 posts)My small publishing company has gone from spending around $ 500 a year on stationary and other supplies down to around $ 215 a year by using one of the local dollar stores rather than Staples. (Not Dollar General!)
Why pay $ 3.00 for 15 manila envelopes when you can pay $ 3.00 for thirty of 'em?
The store we use pays for its employees' health benefits and offers a semi- competitive wage.
