Does ANYONE watch "HUFF POST TV" Online?

If you do...then what do you find interesting there? If you don't ...are you like me, and thought it was just more kind of Celebrity Porn reporting or Chat Room kind of stuff for the entitled. I had high hopes when they hired Star Investigative Reporter, RT's Alonya who had a fantastically successful show and helped build the audience for RT America. But, once she went to Huff Posther voice seemed to get marginalized. I watched for a couple of months and then gave up and haven't gone back.
Just Saying: I had high hopes for Huff Post when it first went online...and had captured real reporters who knew newspapers were dying due to Blogs and internet growth our Liberal Bloggers could get there articles out there to get more viewers. Yet, this was unpaid Volunteer Work for the MSM Reporters, New Bloggers and those unaffiliated with the big Mainstream News Streams and so the volunteers were NOT PAID by Huff Post Establishment. There was an outcry about Ariana using those Bloggers and Leftie Posters to build her business and there was supposed to be a Boycott...but, not sure it went anywhere. Since I don't go there anymore...maybe I missed it that they are paid now.

"Too much Junk News to Wade Through!"
It's to much "Celebrity Porn" for me. And, much of it makes both Women and Men as Objects of fantasy/Gossip.
The HuffPost Media was supposed to Report News and be free of that stuff. But, it just seemed to be Entitled focusing on what THEY SAW as Progressive Left Dem Ideals.
BUT...it was about THEM and their Lifestyle...and the "Issues" came in 2nd or 3rd. That was my harsh view...and wondered if it had caught a following. I just got disgusted with it because I hoped for better.

(5,604 posts)like yourself, largely for Alyona, but then I too drifted away. Too much crap to wade through with the variety-show format of news. I'd like to see Alyona have her own one hour nightly show where she can get back to exploring the undercurrent of news.

(68,644 posts)HP represents the worst of what happens when media access becomes appropriated by the powerful.
It seemed popular at first, then once enough people were following it they took it over as a biased messaging tool.
Fuck them.

(84,711 posts)of last week's issues, while preparing our leftover T-Day fixings.
Clicked through the features...and we decided it would give us indigestion. Fawning pumped up "entitled" DC Ops or something. Topics were light...(well it is TG weekend) but, still...the ones from week before were just kind of...well..not presented well.
So...I gave it another look. But, it might appeal to a different generation which is what I think they are trying to do. I hope for "inter-generational news" though. To join us together and not Niche us apart. Mostly it seemed "Canned WANNABE Progressive" with too much of a flavor of "in your face" about "how cool we are that we deal with deep issues."

(62,325 posts)the news, smart, insightful and she was genuinely nice.
She should have stayed with RT which is one of the sources I use to get International news coverage. Also some of their female interviewers are excellent, and on very serious issues. They do NOT interrupt their guests and there are so few ads you can actually follow a conversation without interruption.
I probably would have checked it out if I had known Illyona was going to be on, but from what everyone is saying here, it doesn't sound worth it.
